| What is royalty
free music? Our music is royalty free, which means that you do not have to pay royalties to performance rights societies such as ASCAP, SOCAN, PRS, GEMA or to any other organizations… This, in turn, means that you can obtain music for your productions at an affordable price and use it as soon as you have paid for your purchase. All the tracks on this website are Abydos Multimedia ® © productions. The company holds the copyright on its music products. |

| How do I order? We suggest that you use Paypal, our secure credit card system – it’s the fastest and easiest way to order.  All our tracks are available for purchase online. There are audio streams of every track in the library to help you choose the right music track to buy for your production. To order online, simply click on the "buy now" button and select the appropriate license. Once your payment is approved, you can will receive an e-mail with a link to Abydos Multimedia tracks music file(s) you've purchased, as well as an invoice and license agreement. You can then download the music immediately. |

| When can I
download the music I ordered? Orders paid by credit card are processed within the half hour on working days. Otherwise, it takes a half day at the most. |

| Do I have to
pay any royalties or licensing fees to ASCAP,
SOCAN, PRS, GEMA or any other performance rights societies? No. As Abydos Multimedia ® owns the copyrights to its music products and its productions are not managed by ASCAP, SOCAN, PRS, GEMA or any other performance rights societies, these organizations (ASCAP, SOCAN, PRS, GEMA or other) are not authorized to ask you for royalty or licensing fees or any other type of payment. Our music library also offers music that has come into the public domain (classical music) and is produced by us: here again no royalty fees are required. In the event of a check, you can justify the free use of the music simply by presenting a copy of your Personal License agreement. A License agreement made out in your name is included with each music purchase. |

| What is the
download format? The long tracks (prefix ML) are provided in mp3 192 kbs (high quality) format. The short music (meaning the loops, prefix MC) are provided in wav format. We also deliver long tracks (prefix ML) in wav or aif format on demand and at no extra cost. see my Flash animations and listen to music from the website using Internet
Explorer 7 & Vista. Here is a solution gleaned from information we found in webmaster forums: In the folder C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash, click on the file "FlashUtil9b.exe". Restart your computer. Another solution is to use the Firefox browser, which you can download free-of-charge at the following address : http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ |

Will that create problems? No problem if you want to use the music for a different version of the same product; i.e. if the same track is used for your company’s website, call waiting and video, for example.
